Photogrammetry and Image Processing
Speck is the first private Indian company to be permitted by Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) for undertaking aerial photography. The company is in a strategic relationship with New Zealand Arial Mapping agency (NZAM) for aerial data acquisition.
Aerial Triangulation & Adjustment
Aerial triangulation is a critical component in the process of photogrammetric work flow. DTM Compilation, DEM and DSM Generation
Digital Terrain Models(DTM), Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and Digital Surface Models (DSMs) are considered as comprehensive and efficient tools for studies using geo-referenced data and information. These are used in visualizing the terrain changes generally termed as Terrain Analysis. Such datasets are used to generate Digital Orthophoto (DOP) and are useful in contour generation.
Speck’s resources possess high level of expertise in generating both automatic and semi-automatic DEM's., with improved terrain accuracy. We adhere to the proper usage of hard and soft breaklines in all our DTM editing assignments, producing an accurate terrain representation, resulting in superior quality orthophotos.
A contour map is an illustration of lines (contour) joining points of equal elevation and depicting surface configurations. Speck has a experience in generation of manual contours and through DTM / DEM.
Orthophotos commonly used in the creation and applications of GIS, measure true distances, as they have been adjusted for topographic relief,lens distortion, and camera tilt of the conventional aerial photographs.
Speck has the expertise and experience to generate rectified orthophotos using SocetSet, Inpho, VirtuoZo and PCI Geomatica. The ortho photos and/or ortho maps are merged together using OrthoVista, and seam lines created, and edited, to ensure a seamless mosaic and colour balance of the entire project area.
Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)
