- NATO STD ACE III Shelter

- ISO 20 Feet Shelter

S-250/G Shelters are made to comply with MIL specification MIL S-55541 and are general purpose, light weight, all weather shelters housing communication equipment. Due to their size and light weight they are easily transportable by any high mobility wheeled vehicles of 1.25 to 2 Ton capacity both commercial and Military. For the same reason they are also easy to transport by helicopters, cargo air craft, rail and ship.
|

S-250 |
Shelter panels are made using controlled thermal pressure bonding technology, which is extensively used by leading shelter manufacturers in US and Europe. Panel wall skins are of single sheet, joint less, special grade Alluminium alloy. These sheets sandwich solid polyurethane foam blocks interspersed with welded Alluminium alloy grid structure. All the six walls are joined and assembled using specially extruded Alluminium profiles, corner angles and rivets to make an excellent and strong shelter capable of rugged and rapid handling and employment by the field forces in all weather and all terrain conditions. To add to the hoop strength all the reinforcement beams are engineered and aligned in all the panels to form a continuous loop to give the structure good strength to weight ratio and the ability to withstand the prescribed roof loads and drop strengths.

Speck manufactures what are commonly known as “ISO 20 feet shelters”(8’ X 8’ X 20’ in dimensions), which comply with MIL STD M-81957 (AS), and are used for housing electronics and communication equipment for tactical purposes and with applications also as maintenance and repair facilities.
|

ISO 20 Feet Shelters |
Like all other MIL STD Shelters these can also be integrated with environmental control units, air ducts, generators, lights, racks, antennae and made suitable for operations by combat units in extreme weather and geographical conditions. EMI shielding levels of more than 60 dB have been achieved. ISO 20 feet shelter will have a bottom M.S. frame with forklift pockets as per ISO:1496-1 and steel corner angles and ISO corners as per ISO-1161.
These sheets sandwich solid polyurethane foam blocks interspersed with welded Alluminium alloy grid structure. All the six walls are assembled using specially extruded Alluminium profiles, corner angles and rivets. To add to the hoop strength, all the reinforcement beams are engineered and aligned in all the panels, to form a continuous loop to give the structure a very good strength to weight ratio and the ability to withstand the prescribed roof loads and drop strengths.
